HI Pete. saw a video on You Tube featuring your work and since checking out your site i can honestly say I'm blown away by your paintings. I'm an abstract photographer and always try to produce pictures that look as if they were paintings. But upon viewing your work i immediately ordered 10 tubes of acrylic paints and 6 canvas boards to try my hand at this style of painting. I'm in love with it. I know you must be very busy but I'd appreciate it if you could find the time to give a quick response to a couple questions. On Sunken Ship there are intense horizontal lines: is this a result of applying the paint directly to the canvas without brushing it? On some of your works I've noticed a bubbling kind of effect: how you achieve this? And do you water down your acrylic paint to achieve the more translucent areas on your paintings?
